THE ARCH 55'~70'. Intermediate. Drift dive. Swim through coral arch. Queen angelfish, high bats, spotted drums. Cessna airplane highlights dive. Blackbar soldierfish, well camouflaged scorpionfish. Ask about plane's history.
CORAL GARDENS 30'~65'. Beginners. Known as "The Classroom." Popular site for resort course/certification. Array of critters. Drop down to 70' and follow edge.
SAND CLUB REEF 45'~85'. Intermediate. Go in and out of overhangs that form tunnels. Schools of blue chromis, deep-water sea fans, spotted eagle rays.
SHARK'S REEF 40'~60'. Intermediate advanced. Drop down over the sloping edge to numerous small shallow caves where nurse sharks often sleep.
THE THRONE ROOM 40'~65'. Intermediate Follow corals, sponges to split in reef. Dive through opening for underwater window which opens onto sandy bottom (65'). Mouth of cave framed with colorful sponges, corals. Sponge formation shaped like a throne.

MONTEGO BAY
BASKET REEF 50'~150'. Intermediate, advanced. Abundance of basket sponges, sea fans, finger corals. Black durgeons, parrotfish, rock beauties, sometimes dolphins.
DOCTOR'S CAVE REEF 30'~40'. Beginners. Reef is sheltered. No current. Variety of corals, small reef fish.
OLD AIRPORT REEF 20'~50'. Beginners. Just offshore by "old" airport buildings. Pretty, interesting life in 20.' BeautifuI coral caverns, crevasses at 30'-40'. Great for "reef-crawling."

RUNAWAY RAY/OCHO RIOS AREAS
DICKIE'S REEF 22'~60'. Beginners, intermediate. Parrotfish, goatfish, sergeant majors, turtles, stingrays. In Ocho Rios area.
THE GANJA PLANES 75'~130'. Intermediate, advanced. Two airplanes used for transporting marijuana in the 1970s. Cessna and Overhead Rockwell in 75' in a sand bed on sloping wall. Plenty of barracudas. In Runaway Bay area.
JUDY'S PARADISE 60'~100'. Intermediate, advanced. Excellent drift dive. Large schools of jacks, lobsters, eagle rays, turtles, nurse sharks. In Runaway Bay area.
KATHRYN 50'. Intermediate, advanced. WW2 Canadian minesweeper sunk intact in 50' near reef. Wreck is 140' long. Lots of fish fed by hand. In Ocho Rios area.
LLANDOVERY 40'. Beginner. Drift dive. West end of Judy's Paradise. Eagle rays, southern stingrays. In Runaway Bay area.
THE NURSERY 30'. Beginner. Excellent second dive. Plenty of marine life, colorful corals. In Runaway Bay area.
REYNOLDS WALL Begins in 45'. Intermediate advanced. Dramatic drop-offs. Heavily encrusted. Reef has lots of creole wrasse, kingfish. In Ocho Rios area.
THREE STONE Begins at 60'. Intermediate advanced. Spectacular coral wall begins at 60' and has no bottom. In Runaway Bay area.

PORT ANTONIO
ALLIGATOR HEAD/ALLIGATOR LONG 50'~160'. Intermediate advanced. Long, defined reef. Giant tubes, sea fans, barrels, vase sponges, flower corals. Triggerfish, jacks, barracudas, juveniles. Drop-off with excellent visibility. Alligator Long is farthest point; defined ridge extends for 20-minute dive at 80'-90'. Large school of adult spade angelfish.
ALLIGATOR WEST 60'~160'. Beginners. Coral outcroppings, minimal current. Ideal for training or novice divers. All divers like site. Larger fish, beautiful drop-off.
BLUE HOLE 35'~80'. Beginners. Shallow dive. north of Blue Lagoon. Mineral accumulation at surface from freshwater spring, thermocline. Beautiful colors. Visibility excellent. Spotted eagle rays, coral overhangs, canyons.
FAIRY HILL 50'~120'. Intermediate. Solitary nearly cylindrical pinnacle rises from floor of 120' to peak of 60'. Teeming with corals, plant color, tropical fish. Continue along defined reef from 50'- 70'. Slight current.
TRIDENT WALL 60'~120'. Intermediate, advanced. Wall approximately 250' long. Levels out to outcroppings of corals, reefs. Barrel, vase sponges, black corals. Good visibility, minimal current.

KINGSTON/PORT ROYAL
CAYMAN TRADER 33'~50'. Beginners, intermediate. Merchant trade vessel with propellers, engine valves intact, sunk more than 30 years ago. Large selection of aquatic life. Chubs, barracudas, nurse sharks.
THE EDGE 100'+. Advanced. Site with one of the highest visibilities on South Coast. Plenty of reef fish. Photographer's dream.
SANDRA'S BUOY 30'~40'. Beginners, intermediate. Profusion of marine life. Coral growth, anchors. Turtles, dolphins, rays have been spotted.
TEXAS WRECK 100+. Advanced. American naval ship that unfortunately sunk in 1944. Situated in the main shipping channel. Abundance of black coral. The wreck is intact with visible gun placements.
WRECK REEF 50'~80'. Horse shaped reef. Aquatic, shark activity. Old cannons, anchors can also be seen lying around the reef.
